What have you been doing?
As the big holidays have gone, Happy belated Valentines , and Day light saving seems to be early this year, March 8, have you set your spring and summer plans in motion? I have begun planning places to fuel and stay for two different routes. We are not yet sure if we are going north or heading west, as we have a wedding in October in California. So the debate is either go back north see family and then head back this way and leave our rig and make a quick trip out west. Also thinking of just heading west and park the rig in AZ or NV and make a quick trip to Cal and spend a bit more time with family after wedding and then back. Husbands decision as its his daughter thats getting married.
So with that, I know some are doing a Disney thing (Richard and Tink’s family) and Alan the plans that we talked about still happening, but what about the rest? Enjoy what ever you decided and be careful.
We just returned from our Anniversary Cruise on the New ship The Disney Destiny. Port of Call was Cozumel, Mexico and Disney Castaway Caye, Bahamas. The ship was amazing and the Theme was The World of Marvel. Upon entering the ship there is a statue of the Black Panther Figure with a Black Panther cat. There's so much to do on the ship, that you can't do it all on one cruise. Cozumel was a good time walking around the town and shops. Castaway Caye was relaxing and being pampered staying in a Cabana was awesome.
Now that we are home, we are in the process of purchasing a new home that does not have and HOA. The house is in Palm Bay, FL and it will have enough space to build an RV Carport in the back of the house. We will have the freedom of doing what ever we want without needing permission from anyone.
Meanwhile, we will keep travel locally for now.
That sounds exciting Richard. We were looking for land to purchase for our RV and many were under HOA and no way would I be told what to do on my own land. Totally understand. Hope it’s what you want. Glad your cruise went well, Tink will be glad to hear that and maybe make it a trip for them. My husband does not do water, so we don’t do cruises. Glad you were in good shape to go after surgery. Enjoy and don’t work to hard when moving.
Staying away from owning a place with a HOA is the best decision.
On my end, I'm in the middle of a very complicated move, but don't want to talk about it yet.. until all the dust settles.

I have listed my current house in Saint Cloud, FL and will be closing on the new house in Palm Bay. FL by 10Apr 26. No HOA and I will have room to park the Motorhome on the backside of the property. We will be busy packing and loading a PODS for the move. So no traveling for now.
