The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls:

BRINKLEY RV

Wires May Become Damaged and Short Circuit

A short circuit increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 35

Brinkley is recalling certain 2025 Model Z trailers. The electrical wiring may not be secured properly, which can result in damaged wiring and a short circuit.

Dealers will secure the electrical wires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed this month. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at (574) 501-4280. Brinkley’s number for this recall is REC-2503.

STORYTELLER OVERLAND, LLC

Improperly Tightened 30-Amp Shore Power Inlet May Cause Fire

An improperly tightened shore power inlet may overheat, increasing the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 106

Storyteller Overland is recalling certain 2023 Mode LT RVs. The exterior shore power inlet may have been improperly tightened.

Dealers will replace the shore power inlets, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 19. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at (888) 999-7442.

WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES, INC.

Damaged Valve May Cause Loss of Tire Pressure

Overloading may cause the outer tire to fail, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 655

Winnebago is recalling certain 2024-2025 Ekko RVs. The inner wheel tire valve extension may be damaged through contact with the outer wheels, causing the inner tire to lose air pressure and overload the outer tire.

Dealers will inspect and replace the valve extensions as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 2. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at (641) 585-6939 or (800) 537-1885. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 200.
