RV Recalls 7-14-2025
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following RV recall:
AIRSTREAM INC.
Awning Can Be Extended While the Vehicle is Moving
An extended awning can detach, becoming a road hazard and increasing the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 244
Airstream is recalling certain 2025 Interstate motorhomes. The parametric special module (PSM) may fail to lock the controls, enabling the awning to be extended during transit.
Dealers will correct the PSM pinning assignment, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 1. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at (877) 596-6505 or (937) 596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.
Very surprised they had a recall on this. Guess someone did not do their job. Thank you, you two.
