How to find a Mobile Tech

Page 1 of 2Next

I just watched a video by The RV Geeks regarding a new site where you can search for a certified and verified Mobile Tech. The site currently is free to use and join. I tried it and found a Tech close by to me and who is also a retired USCG veteran. Here is the site contact https://rvhelp.com/

Please fill free to share this info with your network.

Have to watch it, tho a bit to late, we drove from NV to NY and had major break down. The company we hired, hired out and barely got us on the road and ended up being way more then quoted us.

I’m seriously considering getting my RV tech certification. A place in Elkhart has the entire course online and I can drive there to do the final hands on testing if required. It’s not like I don’t already do all of my own repairs and a few other people’s. I might as well get it and make a little side income. I won’t need to purchase any tools. I already have anything I would need.

That sounds like a good idea. Here's another option to check out, https://nrvta.com/national-rv-training-academy/about-our-programs/

We can use more honest and reliable Tech's nationwide. Good luck.

That would be nice to have an honest one.

Chuck took an online course from a place here in Texas. And then did the in person course. Unfortunately, the in person class was more about pushing a software service that they wanted you to use to track  business income and run a business. He still learned a lot and if he had wanted to do a side business as a tech, he has all the knowledge to be able to do that. But right now he uses the knowledge to keep our RV up and going. And we only hire out RV techs for things that he doesn't have the time or full capability to do on his own.

Thank you for the information Richard.

We saw that course along with others. Most of the things needed Marc can do being an Electronic Engineer, but for things such as welding, we don’t carry a welder, tho we just found a small portable one. We are waiting on our adjuster to see what they say about our damage.

What damage? Are you both okay?
