Runaway Mine Train At Magic Kingdom Finally Reopen
The Runaway Mine Train at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World was closed for over a year, but what caused such a lengthy closure. Well, several things were changed and added. Let's take a look. For starters, there were changes made to the exterior and there have been more story aspects added to enhance the storytelling of the ride. All of the track has been replaced, and there are new ride vehicles. And there have been two new editions. One is the Rainbow Caverns. The second is, (spoiler alert) the golden nugget at the end of the ride, which resembles the one on the Runaway Mine Train in the Disneyland edition in California. Two notes that have been mentioned by those that have riden it is, one that it is much much louder than the previous version. Warning for those that are sensitive to sound, you may want to wear earplugs. The second is the lighting has been improved dramatically.

I just read that the Blue Bayou Restaurant is closing and the Pirates ride is closing for the spring due to refurbishments. Tho we do not go to them, someone may find this information helpful.
Thank you for sharing Brenda. I had not seen that yet. Those are at Disneyland in California and they will be closed from May 4th to, tentatively May 21st.
