A new verse has been added to the end of It's A Small World at both Disneyland and Disney World. The original song was written by the late Richard and Robert Sherman. The new verse was written by Richard Sherman before his passing. Their son said of the new verse "there is more that unites us than divides us, it reinforces the message of the song".
If you want to listen to the last verse outside of the park, a digital single of the of the new version of the song is now available and plus Disney has released It's A Small World, special edition , (70th anniversary) vinyl record.
Here is what is said in the new verse:
Mother Earth unites us in heart and mind.
And the love we give makes us humankind.
Through our vast, wondrous land when we stand hand in hand it's a small world after all.
One more change has been made to the attraction at Disneyland. They have added Miguel and Dante from Cocoa to the Mexico section of the attraction.
I will be out to California in November and get a chance to ride and review this attraction and give you my opinion on what I think of how it's been updated.
