Two news shows open this week at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Villains: Unfairly Ever After and Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure.
Disney’s Villains: Unfairly Ever After is in the theater where Lightning McQueen once filled the area, it is now filled with picture frames and a magic mirror. The main characters being Cruella De Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent. In this interactive experience the audience votes for who they feel has been most unfairly treated to see how the rest of the show will go and end.
Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure is in the Animation Courtyard. This show is a retelling of the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, which was previously in the same theater. Throughout the show, you'll be able to watch Aerial float across the stage while she is singing many of the songs that you will recall from the movie and you'll be able to see magnificent puppetry.
