POW/MIA Update 26 May 25

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced four updates and two identifications for service members who have been missing and unaccounted for from World War II and the Korean War.

Burial Updates:

-- Korean War Army Cpl. Albert J. Estrada, California

-- World War II Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. John H. Danneker, Virginia

-- World War II Army Air Forces Pvt. Herbert E. McLaughlin, Wisconsin

-- World War II Army Air Forces 2nd Lt. Donald W. Sheppick, Pennsylvania

Identifications:

-- World War II Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Nicholas J. Governale

-- Korean War Army Sgt. James B. Brock

Thank you Richard. We just saw in the news they finally identified a WWII pilot from a few towns north of us and are bringing him home finally. Guess they also found a war plane with some bones that they are now trying to identify and hopefully can bring them home too.
