Matterhorn
At Disneyland in California, the Matterhorn was unexpectedly shut down for refurbishments this week. There has been no word of why the refurbishments are scheduled right now and only a sign saying that the Matterhorn will return in late fall of 2025. This is a very odd time for them to be doing refurbishments on the Matterhorn as it is just about time to kick off the 70th Anniversary Party there at Disneyland. They're getting ramped up to kick off the celebration here in just under a week. As a matter of fact, that start off date for celebrations is May 16th. With large crowds expected, having an E ticket ride down is not going to be a good thing.
DW is also going thru the same of shutting down various rides for refurbishment. You would think they could preplan these and not doing as they are doing now with short or no advance warning. I feel for the folks who made plans to visit and rides not available.
