St. Patty’s

Tho we are not Irish, we were wondering who are and who may be celebrating it anyways? We usually have corn beef and cabbage dinner for that day, but were invited to a party, not RVer’s. What are you all doing for that weekend?  We also were wondering how you feel about time change? Very much in the news. We don’t care less, as we are retired. As of last week, I am officially retired (62). No matter where you are and what your doing, enjoy what you can.

I normally cook the same meal of cornbeef and cabage, but this year not sure due to the high cost for cornbeef. Currently $9.99 lb at Publix. My sister-in-law is 100% Irish and lives in AZ now with my brother.

Well considering how often we have corned beef and cabbage here at the house anyway, it tends to only sometimes coincide with St. Patty's.   We in fact just finished off a big batch, and I made a cabbage & potato soup with the leftovers.

Years ago I used to cook for 50 people once a month, that was the biggest batch of corned beef I have done.

Neither of us in this house are Irish 😉

We normally do corn beef and cabbage every year, but because of how hot it was this week, we opted not to do it so as not to heat up the RV this year.
