Congress Sends Dole Act to President’s Desk

After a final round of minor technical corrections, the Senate approved by unanimous consent, S. 141, Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act. Subsequently, the House voted in favor of the bill for a second time and now it heads to the president for signature. The VFW thanks all the advocates from around the country who responded to our Action Alert urging their representatives and senators to support this historic legislation!
