Lightning Lane Premiere Pass

Quote from Tink H. on 2024-10-16, 11:13 amHere Disney goes with another money grab and they're calling it Lightning Lane Premiere Pass. Where it is similar to it's sisters the Single and Multi Lightning Lane Passes there are a few distinct differences. The first differences is this is only available for purchase to those staying in the Deluxe and Deluxe villa hotel resorts. Difference 2 is you are able to use this at each Lightning Lane ride one time per day. Difference 3 you don't have to pre select a time that you're going to use it on each ride, you just show up at the ride whenever you want to ride that specific ride and enter through the Lightning Lane cue.
When I said price grabbing I wasn't kidding. The pricing for this is a little outrageous. They don't have a park hopper operation as of yet. And these are what the prices are per park.
Disney's Animal Kingdom: $129 - $199 + tax per person
EPCOT: $169 - $249 + tax per person
Disney's Hollywood Studios: $269 - $349 + tax per person
Magic Kingdom: $329 - $449 + tax per person
Keep in mind that's only one ride on each ride, and the number of rides per each park when you're looking at the value per dollar on each of those parks such as Animal Kingdom being at $129 -$199 and how many Lightning Lane rides there are actually available. Do you really think that that is worth it?
These prices will be much like the previous Lightning Lane, on a sliding scale per day, based on how busy the park is.
I don't know, but lately it seems the further they go along it seems the further they get away from Walt's ideals and the further they get away from what the customer really wants. I love all things the Mouse, I just don't love the corporate side.

Quote from Richard R. on 2024-10-16, 11:36 amI agree with you Tink. I don't care for the corporate side either. We are seeing the same thing with DVC housekeeping fees for extra cleaning, towels, etc.. The average person/families are being priced out and Walt must be turning in his grave.
