Happy Place Breakfast

When I took my first bite of breakfast this morning I was transported to one of my happy places. Now I say one because I could smell Disney's H20 products and be transported to a Disney Cruise ship instantaneously, and that is also one of my happy places, but I get side tracked off of where I'm going with this story. This morning, I had muffin from Sam's Club which was part of a holiday pack. This was a special treat of either a pumpkin spice, apple pie, or orange cranberry flavor.  The flavor I had this morning was orange cranberry and when I took a bite it was like tasting the smell of being on Soaring Over California when you fly over the orange fields.

If Disney could get this recipe they could easily sell it at the little restaurant across from Soaring in California Adventure or either of the restaurants in Living with the Land Pavillion when they have the Soaring Over California overlay at Epcot. These were so delicious. The only bad thing is I only eat a half a muffin for breakfast and Chuck wanted to try it so he ate the other half so I don't have it for tomorrow to get a second go around.

Such restraint.. no way I could just eat half a muffin.  Thanks to Chuck, you now have another reason to go buy more.   Food triggers so many memories.

I miss having a Sam's club near me (none in Washington state).   In Atlanta we had both Sam's and Costco and would pick and choose the best bakery and other food items from both.

I like the Krusteaz mix if you can find it in the grocery store.  None in Bellingham carry it consistently, so I just order direct from Krusteaz (it's a bulk pack).   I cheat and use a little Orange Liquor in them as part of the liquid.   I find Krusteaz products a great starting point for many things.
