Plans for Memorial Day
What are your plans for Memorial Day, will you be on the road, throwing a party, or just relaxing where you are? We have no plans, my daughter has plans, so we will just veg on the patio (unless it rains) have hotdogs and such and just watch others go by. A few years ago we went to Waterloo area in NY where they are said to be the first place to celebrate Memorial Day. There they throw a huge festival and open the museum that shows the history there. Recently in our local news, we found that two other places are claiming they were the first. Do you know the history of Memorial Day? We hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable day and will be safe.
Well is has rained and now ugly outside. So we are laying low today. Thank you to all who sacrificed and to those families that have lost.
