Christmas interests.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s that time to decorate and do what you enjoy at this time. We all know the reason for Christmas, and are grateful and blessed, but we would like to know a little bit more about your interests on the season.
What is your favorite Christmas movie, and yes, Die Hard is a Christmas movie😂? Marc doesn’t have one, but mine is White Christmas.
What is your favorite Christmas song? We don’t have a favorite. We like the old ones from Nate King Cole to the newer ones from Dan and Shay.
Do you go drive around to see the lights? We drive around the areas where we are and look to see what people put up. I use to go see the “Lights on the Lakes” which is a light show on Onondaga Lake in Syracuse, NY. You drive your car through the drive along the lake, absolutely beautiful.
If there is anything else that sounds like fun that you do, please let us know. We are trying to find a Christmas Market of sorts, but nothing yet.

Movie- Christmas Vacation, music- I’m a rocker so Billy Squire’s “Christmas is a time to say I love you” Yes we usually do drive around and see Christmas lights. Luckily we live 30 minutes from the town of Santa Claus, Indiana. Christmas Lake Village is a ritzy gated community but they open the gates and have a free drive through light tour. Also, Lake Rudolph campground is a Sun Outdoors Resort that has a very nice display. It is Sun Outdoors so of course there is a fee to drive through it but it is nominal. And, right next door is Holiday World Amusement park that has a Christmas drone show and fireworks. I’m certain there are YouTube videos on all three of those locations in that town. We also do a LOT of cooking and baking.
