Towable Recommendations?
Hello,
I'm a new member, excited to be here and can't wait to meet some fellow RVers. My husband and I recently purchased a 2022 Jayco Alante 29F Class A with a towing maximum of 5000 lbs. We're searching for a compatible tow-behind vehicle suitable for 2 adults and 2 German Shepherds. We were looking at the Jeep Wrangler 4-door. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Well welcome to our community. We don’t tow like that, we tow a 5th wheel, but many of the people we know, do have jeeps. Hopefully someone like Richard can help, as I believe he tows. Good luck.

Welcome to RV Friends. You will find the member's here are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. With that said, I did a quick search on 2025 Wranglers and found that ALL the 4 door models weight exceeds the 5000 lbs capacity for your hitch. If you haven't already checked, I suggest you look at You Tube for various recommendations to meet your needs. I personally flat tow a 2012 Cadillac SRX using a Blue Ox tow bar. I have a 2020 FR3 34DS. Please share what ever you find and the end result of your search. Again, Welcome and I look forward to your future postings.
