Get togethers
It would be nice to be able to plan get together for those who are near each other. Either meet up for lunch/dinners, go biking, or any other happenings. I know there needs to be more activity on here, will work on it as I get to know it. We enjoyed setting up gatherings at a public place. Just another idea.

As long as it is for PUBLIC Gatherings we will talk about it internally. Anything 1-on-1 should be done through the Direct Message part of Profiles.. There have been horror stories even with folks thinking they were going to a group thing, and it was not. We address some of this in our RV & Travel Safety menu item.
We don't want anyone listing their contact info in the Discussion area as it is a security risk. As you know, there are BOTs (Software Robots) that scan websites and farm any personal data they can. The Public Gatherings section would have to be Moderated very well to avoid this. We will let you know ... we need a few days to mull it over on this one.
Totally understand. We wouldn’t go anywhere no one felt uncomfortable and always in public. We use to meet at restaurants mostly. Thank you.

Well still working on the advertising side of things, but went ahead and created the "Events" section. ONLY paid active Members will be allowed to create a Meet & Greet Topic, but anyone can reply including Complimentary Access.
The General Public (not registered for Complementary or Membership) will NOT see this section.
