Quote from Brenda S. on 2024-05-09, 1:49 pmIs there any way to get “back buttons” on here. You to into read a post or even seeing members, but there is no way, after inviting them as friends, was to go back but the page back arrow and was not sure that it kept my invite.
As for the map for who is at your campground who is a member or in the same area is an idea I had.
I’m new so not sure if there are these, but I have many ideas. I went to reply on two of the post and there was no reply button on them, so went this way. Sorry if it was wrong.

Never apologize for such things. Some posts are "closed for replies" as they are just an announcement, or more often the case, are ones that we want you to comment elsewhere (like here), or to contact us directly. We will also close a Topic if it is in Review by the Moderators, might be opened later on again.

There are two ways to "back button":
- Use your Browser "Back" icon which often looks like this ←
- Or in the discussion area you can click on any segment of the "Breadcrumbs"

I am going to write up a "How friends works" Topic later on but it's going to take a lot of images to create samples or to make a video. So it will take a lot of time.
But if you go to a person's profile and click on "Add Friend" it will then immediately say "Request Sent" in the same spot. Should you view their profile again, it would say "Cancel Request" in that spot until they Accept or Decline. You can take back your Friend request by clicking "Cancel Request" until they respond.
In all cases, Going back to the Member Search, Discussion, or any other place on the website will not lose the request once it is sent.
To verify your requests: go to your profile and click on Friends.. it will show you who has currently accepted your request as well as How many Requests you have sent and are Pending, and how many people have sent you a Friend request that you have not responded to. Note, a person has the option not to accept or decline a request, but to wait and get to know you first. Also if they Decline the request, you will not be able to send another to them (the Decline is rare, but it happens).
I personally wait to have several conversations with someone before I consider Friending them - and recommend everyone do that.

Quote from Brenda S. on 2024-05-09, 3:22 pmThank you Tark. I did see I could go that way. As for friends, glad it wouldn’t stop from going through a friends request. The friends request was to Richard to whom I have known for awhile and another couple that I have also know via another site. I have been doing this type of stuff to know to be careful, but thank you for looking out. Richard was the one to get me on here. We don’t do FB so had to look for something else when we lost RVillage. Enjoy what you can.

We are not fond of anyplace on the internet where YOU are the product (i.e. selling your information, or to you). So HATE Facebook, Twitter (refuse to call it X), etc.
