After closing on May 5th, they finally have a reopened date slated for the Matterhorn. By the time it opens on July 24th it will have been 2 and a 1/2 months that it was down for refurbishment during the 70th Anniversary Celebration year. Things that have been said to have been worked on while it was down are lights put into dark areas of the ride, cameras put into similar areas as the lights, and safety railings put along potential fall areas along the ride. Although there were rumors about work being done on the track there is no official word the track work was done.
