Some folks love me, others don't
I hate to say this, as I don't do "warm and fuzzy" well:
I'm here to mostly focus on running the website which, as we ramp up, is a lot of work. We appreciate and need your comments and suggestions (there is a Discussion Section for them) and we have been actively making a lot of them happen including fixing typos (thanks Paul W. ♥). But what is missing is actual conversations between you all in this Discussion section. It takes activity to see if anything goes bump in the night (hasn't so far). So throw a Topic into the mix and see who is interested in it!
I will join in conversations on rare occasions as we both have full time consulting jobs. Please remember the Private Direct Message system in the Profiles is for you all to exchange private contact info if you want. It's not intended for general chit-chat. If you do it there, other folks looking to see and enjoy conversations cannot participate, because they see nothing. The site was built for lively open conversations.. here.

Yes, we are counting on that.. we like active participation for sure.
We take all suggestions into account.. Richard made one a few days ago which we already implemented (the RV Upgrades section). He also was talking to Alan on the phone while they were working on something together.. and that lead to there being a Checkbox in the profiles for "Are you a Veteran" which is now searchable as well.
I also noted you made a suggestion already buried in a different topic .. and that's a funny tale with about a conversation between Richard R. and Alan. But I'll let Alan address that with you.
BTW it is best to put each idea in a separate Topic in the Suggestions for the Site section here. That way it is not in another thread, and folks can Thumb up/down on the idea or comment themselves on it.

I prefer to say something directly or in private... that way there is no confusion as to what the "sad face" is all about LOL. But don't worry, there is no such thing as a "stupid question" or concerns as someone gets to learn the system. Everything has a learning curve.. and with anything technical like this Oy vey
Plus we like to see folks voice the "I don't understand xxx" as it helps us to know what we need to document for others as well. We like to Educate, not berate.
