Plans for 2025?

Page 1 of 2Next

What are your plans for the new year? Are you planning your trips? Are you planning on renovating your RV? Are you planning on seeing family you haven’t see in awhile? Planning on retiring? We are in plans to head to the East Coast to see family we hadn’t seen in a couple of years. We also have plans to remodel our bathroom. Looking to change our tub shower for just a shower and with space left over, plans to put shelving up. We also plan on redoing our bathroom sink. We have plans to do our annual purging too. We do want to be able to meet up with others somewhere in our travels this year. Hope you all are figuring out what your plans are this year and will be full of adventures and things done on your bucket list.

2024 was a non-RVing year for me due to health issues personally and imidiate family members and of course RV repairs in and out of the shop. So I'm ready to get back on the road. I have two major events to attend, one in April which is the burial of my eldest brother who passed in AZ and we are going to honor his request to be bury back home in NY. He will be buried at Calverton VA National Cemetery in Long Island. The second event is a wedding in Surprise, AZ in September. When I go to NY, I will spend a little time to visit family, friends, and staff at my non-profit agency. Plus a Katz Deli run into the city. Will make a stop in PA so wife can visit with her brother. After that, on the way home a visit at The Wall in D.C.. I just hope gas prices stay reasonable. So that's my plans thus far.

Sorry for the loss but sounds like an exciting year of travel nonetheless.

Our plans for the year include 3 Disney trips, which will start out with a cruise out of Galveston in February and then a trip to Disneyland in November and then a Christmas Disney cruise. And then we are planning on changing up our bed to an adjustable base bed sometime during the year.

Our only plans so far is to visit our daughter and son-in-law and our son in Pahrump, NV this coming fall around the first of October. No camping trips planned yet but I’m sure we will work some into our vacation times even if it is more local campgrounds. Our oldest daughter lives in Indy which is only 3 hours away so we might try to do a week up in that area in the spring.

I'm going to again try to get to Hawaii to visit my Niece who is a surgeon at Tripler.   My Brother, his Wife, and I tried last year, but things happened..  🙄

Paul, glad to see you on the site. Looking forward to your history postings when you have time. I like that trip plan for 2025. What program did you use for routing? I didn't do any traveling in 2024 due to multiple VA medical appointments. However, 2025 is going to be local to get back into the swing of things.

Paul, we will be just missing you, as you are taking some of the path we are to go to the east coast to see family. Hope you’re watching the weather as we are, as it seems to be right where we want to go. Enjoy your travels and be safe.
