CA Stop Invasive Pest
I just saw this and don't recall this happening last year when I was in CA. Have any of you experience this? See link for details.
Actually many states have rules and programs like this, but not well funded to get the word out.
I'm glad they mentioned "Buy firewood where you’ll burn it." Taking firewood across a State Line is most of the time illegal because of the pests hiding in it. I had a friend in NY that was in charge of tracking such things and he had lots of horror stories.

Our first trip out west and headed to TX, we were stopped at the border of TX and was asked if we had any plants , of course not at that time. Many states don’t stop you when crossing the border but I know like CA, NY has issues with Ash Bore and that is one reason you can only use firewood in the areas, tho many RV parks/campgrounds prefer you use wood from them or bought near the park. CA should be watching their produce leaving the state, as we bought vegetables from the state and had worms, had to throw it all out.
