Say Goodbye to Virtual Queue on Tron

Quote from Tink H. on 2024-09-05, 8:24 amStarting September 9th, the virtual queue on Tron Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom will be a thing of the past. On this day they will be starting to utilize a standby line instead. Your options for entry will be either the standby line or to purchase a Lightning Lane Pass.

Quote from Richard R. on 2024-09-05, 11:25 amWOW, who is making these decisions? I wonder if the Disney Family has any say about this and all the latest changes made. The Magic is slowly getting tarnished. I pray the new CEO that comes on board will get the Magic back on track.

Quote from Alan K. on 2024-09-05, 12:40 pmYes, I was surprised at the "feeling" I got from the place when I visited DisneyLand with my Brother @DaBossTroll and his Wife. I really enjoyed the time in the park (and especially the food! & people watching) but the rides were not as I remembered. Way too fast, and some of my favorites long gone.
I have not been to DisneyWorld in decades, but I used to go a lot. I suspect it is cheaper to repurpose an attraction that already has foot traffic past it and all the infrastructure below ground already.

Quote from Tink H. on 2024-09-05, 2:05 pmI still get the magic butterfly feeling when I go into the park at least I still did when I went to Disneyland earlier this year and I suspect I will when I go to Disney World here this coming week, but I'm saddened by what they're doing to the parks and the overall changes that they have planned up coming. So I don't know if that's gonna affect how I will feel in the future, but to me, Walt's vision has slowly been eched away and I really don't know if future CEOs will be able to bring that back.
