CDC Updates Dog Entry to USA

Yes, I am now going to have to get my new dog chipped. Problem is they do fail and you don't know it unless you have your vet check at least once a year.
My service dog was chipped and the last time we traveled before she passed away, it was a problem. I had the registration document, but they could not read the chip, even though it was tested 3 months prior. Sigh.
There are also problems with what manufacturer supplied the chip and the frequency it is on.
