Disney Springs Drone Show

Quote from Richard R. on 2024-06-22, 5:28 pmLast night I was at Disney Springs with my son and grandkids for dinner at the Paddlefish and we had a great view of the Disney Dreams That Soar show. It was awesome and amazing how they maneuver the drones. Checkout the attached link to see for yourself the show.

Quote from Tink H. on 2024-06-25, 8:27 amI'm secretly hoping that they extend the showing for a little bit longer so that we get a chance to see it. The cut off date for viewing ( which happens to be the first week of September) is just a week and a half short of when we arrive.

Quote from Alan K. on 2024-06-25, 2:48 pmConsidering the cost of FireFly Drones as a possible supplier to them IF they purchased a system, and how seldom Disney does them, I would suspect they contract out the shows. Because of a contract, I would be very surprised if they could extend the show, never mind the money involved. It also requires a HUGE secured area with no access by the public to fly the drones from and over, which would also have to be contracted.
Some more info about the shows and companies doing them is Here from "The Drone Girl" website

Quote from Richard R. on 2024-06-25, 4:10 pmThe Drone show is a Disney Production and the land and air space is Disney property. They also perform the show at DL Paris. The show may be performed again for the Holiday. Our daughter is a Manager for Disney and keeps us up to date as to what is happening in the Parks and Cruises. Tink, when I hear anything regarding the show, I will email you.
