NV, Mesquite - Donkey Museum

Quote from Brenda S. on 2024-06-01, 8:00 pmToday we decided go venture and go see something interesting. We went into Mesquite, NV and found a Donkey Museum. It is a small place, in with a few small stores in a parking lot, what we would call a strip mall. When we went in, we were met by a nice lady. She told us about the museum and why there is one in town. The museum was not just about Donkeys, but Mules and other types of working members of these families. How they helped our Army out till they were replaced by jeeps. It also told us about why they opened it up. They get funds from the museum, tho free to go in , by donations to help recuse these types of animals. They have gift shop and even a panning for gems to help the donations. It was also of fun and very interesting. It is for a great cause, and we were told, they actually have one rescue here outside of Mesquite, on in Virginia and one in Australia. If you are ever around this area, check it out, it’s for a good cause.
