Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter - New & Advanced RV Inline Water Filter with Flexible Hose Protector - GAC & KDF Water Filter - Made in USA - Camping Essentials for Fresh Drinking Water (40043)

Alan K.
We always filter our city water to help keep the tank clean as possible from chunks and gunk that are often in RV parks lines. We have additional filtering after our tank for anything we drink or cook with.

Camco TastePURE 35-Foot Premium Camper/RV Drinking Water Hose - Features a Heavy-Duty No-Kink Design with Strain Relief Ends & 5/8-Inch Inside Diameter - NSF Drinking Water Safe Certified (22843)

Alan K.
Never use a standard Garden Hose for your drinking water. We find this length to be good 95% of the time, and with its 5/8″ inner diameter, the tanks fill fast.

All Metal RV Exterior Quick Connect Faucet,4"RV Shower Faucet Replacement,RV Outside Shower Valve Kit,Camper Shower Faucet Valve with Quick Connect,RV Exterior Sprayer Faucet (Brushed Nickel)

Alan K.
I avoid plastic whenever possible as they tend to break. All metal is the way to go, and this is SOLID. The valves are 1/4 turn from off to full on. If you want the quick disconnect to match the rest of the unit, go for the chrome version… I’m not fussy about it, and matte is more spot free.
Note the threads on the back are type G. My hardware store stocks these fittings, but I will put the adapter to NPT below if you should need them.

GESHATEN 1/2” G Thread (BSP) Female to 1/2” NPT Male Connector, Brass BSP to NPT Adapter 1/2 Inch, Industrial Metal Brass G Thread to Pipe Fittings Connect (2 Pack)

Alan K.
I personally don’t need these since my rig is DIY and I went directly from G type to PEX. But if you are retrofitting, you might need these if your plumbing is NPT type.

G-Sunny All Metal RV City Water Inlet with Check Valve, RV Water Inlet Replacement, RV Water Fill Inlet,RV Water Inlet Connection for for RV Camper Motorhome Trailer Marine

I’m using this as my City Water inlet. Again, avoiding plastic.

RVGUARD RV Water Pressure Regulator Valve, Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Water Pressure Reducer with Gauge and Inlet Screen Filter for RV Camper Travel Trailer

Alan K.
Protect your pressurized water system! Excess water pressure in some RV parks can blow your joints open.
I use this to have a reasonable controlled flow when filling my unpressurized tanks as well. Too much water too fast is a mess, so I try and avoid that.
