TRIPLE E RECREATIONAL VEHICLES

Incorrect GVWR on Label

An incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 95

Triple E is recalling certain 2024 Unity and 2024 Wonder motorhomes. The metric and imperial GVWR values were transposed.

Triple E will mail owners corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 30. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 204-325-4361. Triple E’s number for this recall is CA No. 10616-1.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following 2024 RV recalls:

BRINKLEY RV

Safety Chains Are Underrated for GVWR

Underrated chains can break, enabling the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 40

Brinkley is recalling certain 2025 Model Z travel trailers. The installed safety chains are underrated for the GVWR.

Dealers will replace the safety chains, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 8. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 574-501-4280. Brinkley’s number for this recall is REC-2403.

DAIMLER TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA, LLC

Fuel Pump Failure May Cause Engine Stall

An engine stall increases the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 588

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling certain 2025 Freightliner Cascadia, Western Star 49X, Freightliner Custom Chassis XCM and Freightliner Custom Chassis XCP vehicles equipped with certain Cummins fuel pumps. The fuel pump barrels may fracture and cause a fuel leak, which can result in an engine stall.

Cummins will replace the fuel pump barrels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 22. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 800-745-8000. DTNA’s number for this recall is F1010. Owners may also contact Cummins customer service at 812-377-5000.

FOREST RIVER, INC.

Improperly Tightened Roof Rack

A detached roof rack can become a road hazard, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 331

Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The roof rack hardware may not have been properly tightened, enabling the rack to detach from the roof.

Dealers will inspect and tighten roof rack hardware, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 6. Owners may call Forest River customer service at 269-467-6604. Forest River’s number for this recall is 121-1844.

 

Insufficiently Reflective Side Lights/Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108

Insufficiently reflective side marker lights can reduce the trailer’s visibility to other drivers, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 331

Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The side marker lights may not reflect light as intended, which can make it difficult for other drivers to see the trailer. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS No. 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment.”

Incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) on Federal Placard Label for FMVSS No. 110

Referencing an incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 26

Forest River is recalling certain 2025 Catalina CAT243RBSLE travel trailers. The federal placard label states an incorrect GAWR. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS No. 110, “Tire Selection and Rims,” and fail to comply with the requirements of NHTSA’s 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.”

WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES, INC.

Inadequate Turn Signal Luminosity/FMVSS No. 108

A small lens can make it difficult for other drivers to see the turn signal, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 17,329

Winnebago is recalling certain 2013-2017 Tour; 2013-2018 Journey; 2014-2022 Forza; 2015-2016 Brave; 2015-2019 Grand Tour; 2015-2021 Vista; 2016-2018 Adventurer and Sightseer; 2018-2021 Intent and Sunstar; 2018-2020 Horizon and Itasca; 2013-2017 Ellipse and Meridian; 2014-2017 Solei; 2015-2016 Tribute; 2015-2018 Sunstar; 2016-2018 Suncruiser and Sunova motorhomes. The turn signals may have a smaller than required luminous lens area. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS No. 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment.”

Screw May Damage Seat Belt Retractor

A damaged retractor may perform improperly, preventing the seat belt from securing the occupant and increasing the injury risk during a crash.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 27

Winnebago is recalling certain 2025 View and Navion motorhomes. A screw may contact and damage the seat belt retractor.

Dealers will inspect driver and passenger retractors and either adjust the placement or replace the screw as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 29. JAYCO, INC.

Incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) on Certification Label/Part 567

An overloaded vehicle can increase the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 49

Jayco is recalling certain 2025 Jay Feather Air travel trailers. The GAWR listed on the vehicle certification label is incorrect, which can cause the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 567, “Certification.”

Dealers will install new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 25. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9901613.

 

Incorrect Tire Load Range on Label/Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No. 110

Incorrect tire and load range information could cause owners to select underrated replacement tires, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 2,066

Jayco is recalling certain 2021-2025 Entegra Ethos, Ethos Li, Jayco Swift and Swift Li vehicles. The Tire and Loading Information Label incorrectly lists the tire load range. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS No. 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following 2024 RV recalls:

ALUMINUM TRAILER COMPANY (ATC)

Trailer Tongue May Break and Separate from Trailer

A separated trailer tongue can cause loss of control and increase the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,590

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain 2013-2025 Car Hauler and 2017-2025 Stacker vehicles. Stress may crack and break the A-frame tongue, separating the tongue from the trailer.

Dealers will weld additional supports to the tongue tubes, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 9. Owners may call ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440 ext. 342.

BRINKLEY RV

Solar Panel Wiring May Overheat, Causing Fire

Overheated wires increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,319

Brinkley is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model G fifth wheel trailers. The solar panels may have been incorrectly wired, which can overload the circuits and cause the wiring to overheat.

Dealers will rewire the solar power system, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 29. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley’s number for this recall is REC-2404.

FOREST RIVER, INC.

Air Conditioner May Catch Fire

An air conditioner soft-start device overheats and increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 2,783

Forest River is recalling certain 2024 Ahara, Entrada, 2022-2025 FR3, Georgetown, 2021-2023 Dynamax Isata, 2021-2025 Encore, Mirada, Pursuit, 2025 Sportscoach, V-Cruise, V-Sport, V-Tour, 2023 Sunseeker and 2024-2025 V-RV motorhomes, equipped with General Electric air conditioners with a soft-start device with part number ICM870-16A-BH5400. The air conditioner soft-start device may fail and overheat.

The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 26. Solar Panel Wiring May Melt Causing Fire

Melted wires increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 16

Forest River is recalling certain 2023-2024 Riverstone Fifth Wheel trailers. The solar panels may have been incorrectly connected in parallel instead of in series, causing the wiring to overheat and melt.

Dealers will inspect the wiring and replace the cable entry plate and solar controller as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 27. Owners may call Forest River Customer Service at 260-593-2425. Forest River’s number for this recall is 70-1853.

 

Missing Vent May Allow Sewer Gas to Enter Vehicle

Sewer gas entering the vehicle increases the injury risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 272

Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Catalina and 2025 Aurora travel trailers. The washer preparation area may not have an anti-siphon vent installed, enabling sewer gas to enter the vehicle.

NEWMAR CORP.

Damaged Valve May Cause Loss of Tire Pressure

Overloading may cause the rear tire to fail, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 111

Newmar is recalling certain 2023-2024 Super Star motorhomes. The inner wheel tire valve extension may be damaged through contact with the outer wheels, causing the inner tire to lose air pressure and overload the outer tire.

Damaged LP Gas Manifold May Leak

A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 4

Forest River is recalling certain 2025 Palomino RVs. The axle equalizer may contact and damage the LP gas manifold, causing a propane leak.

Dealers will relocate the LP gas manifold, free of charge. All vehicles are still on dealer lots. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 269-432-3246. Forest River’s number for this recall is 400-1857.

LED Backlight Circuit Board Failure May Cause Fire

A circuit board that overheats increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 3

Inspire RVs is recalling certain 2024 Newport 27 and 29 trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Dealers will cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notifications were made, and all affected trailers were repaired in September. Owners may contact Inspire at 800-363-0008.

Inverter Wire Unprotected from Battery

An unprotected inverter wire increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 6

Forest River is recalling certain 2025 East to West Alta travel trailer vehicles. The inverter may be incorrectly wired to constant “hot” on the second battery, causing the wire to be unprotected from the battery.

Dealers will rewire the inverter to the breaker side of the second battery, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 11. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-264-6664. Forest River’s number for this recall is 501-1859.

 

Stove May Detach from the Cabinet

A stove that detaches during use increases injury risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 288

Forest River is recalling certain 2025 Vibe and Cedar Creek travel trailer vehicles. The stove may detach from the cabinet.

Air Conditioner May Catch Fire

An air conditioner soft-start device that overheats increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 8

Jayco is recalling certain 2024 North Point and Pinnacle trailers equipped with certain GE Appliances air conditioners. The air conditioner soft-start device may fail and overheat.

The remedy is currently under development. As an interim measure, owners should have the ICM870-16A-BH5400 soft start removed from their air conditioner. KZRV, L.P.

Slide Out Door Actuator May Impact Tire

An actuator that contacts a tire can cause tire failure, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 14

KZRV is recalling certain 2025 Sportsmen 303QBSE travel trailers. The driver’s side door slide out actuator is located too close to the tires, which can cause the actuator to contact the tire.

Cooktop Flame May Invert

An inverted cooktop flame increases the fire or injury risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 340

Outdoors RV is recalling certain 2025 20BD, 21MKS, 21RWS, 23BCS, 24KRS, 250RDS, 250RKS, 25DVS, 260KRS and F28RKS travel trailers. The cooktop flame may invert when the stove and furnace are operated at the same time.

WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES, INC.

Entrance Door Window May Detach

A window that detaches during transit can become a road hazard, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 5,313

Winnebago is recalling certain 2020-2024 Winnebago View and Navion RVs equipped with certain Lippert Metallarte door assemblies. The door assembly may have been manufactured with incorrect window adhesion, causing the window to loosen or detach.

Hood Mounting Brackets May Detach

A detached hood bracket may become a road hazard and increase the crash risk.

Winnebago is recalling certain 2014-2018 Sightseer; Itasca Sunova; 2016-2025 Forza; Vista and Itasca/Winnebago Sunstar; 2015-2025 Adventurer; 2015-2024 Commercial Vehicle; 2015-2028 Itasca Suncruiser; and 2016-2017 Itasca Solei RVs. The hood bracket adhesive may have been incorrectly applied, which can allow the bracket to detach.

Incorrect Wiring Can Melt and Short

Wires connected to the incorrect mini breaker could melt and short, increasing the fire risk.

Forest River is recalling certain 2021-2025 Impression fifth wheel travel trailers. The solar charge line, front LED hitch light and the pass-through light may have been wired to the incorrect mini breaker.

VANCRAFT LLC

Incorrect Seat Belt Hardware May Fail/Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No. 209

The incorrect hardware may fail, increasing the injury risk during a crash.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 32

VanCraft is recalling certain 2002-2006 Campervan vehicles. Incorrect seat belt anchor hardware was used on the rear bench seats. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS No. 209, “Seat Belt Assemblies.”

Dealers will replace the seat belt anchor hardware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed Nov. 11. Owners may contact VanCraft customer service at 888-381-7333.

 

Missing Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) and Altered Certification Labels/FMVSS No. 110 and 567

Missing OCCC and altered certification labels may result in unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 273

VanCraft is recalling certain 2002-2006 Campervan, 2014-2023 SWB Campervan, LWB Campervan, 2023 LWB Campervan Pro, 2023-2024 Rover, Rover XL and Alltrek vehicles. The vehicles are missing the OCCC label and the altered certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS No. 110, “Tire Selection and Rims” and 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.”

Seat Anchorage System May Fail/FMVSS No. 2017, 209

Hardware failure may prevent the seat and/or seatbelt from adequately restraining an occupant, increasing the injury risk during a crash.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 241

VanCraft is recalling certain 2014-2023 SWB, LWB, 2023 LWB Pro, 2023-2024 Rover, Rover XL and Alltrek campervans. The reinforcement hardware, mounting hardware and seat belt anchor bolts in the rear bench seating system may fail under load. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements FMVSS No. 207, “Seating Systems” and 209, “Seat Belt Assemblies.”

WINNEBAGO TOWABLE

Solar Panel May Detach While In Transit

A detached solar panel can become a road hazard, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,211

Winnebago Towable is recalling certain 2022 Micro Minnie FLX and Hike travel trailers. The mounting hardware may come loose, allowing the solar panel to detach.

Dealers will install butyl adhesive tape between the solar panel and mounting bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 15. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 574-825-5280 Ext. 5220. Winnebago’s number for this recall is CAM0000040.
